![]() It's easy enough to compare features and ease of use. I've downloaded trial versions of Perfect Resize (latest version of Genuine Fractals), PhotoZoom Pro 4 (BenVista), and Alien Skin BlowUp. I've read a lot of reviews and tried several programs with varying results. As these programs continually upgrade and improve, I'm interested in hearing some current opinions and experiences. I didn’t know if it would re-process, so didn’t risk it.ģ Diff.Hi, I'm looking for input on the latest software programs used for significantly upsizing images (ie for canvas printing etc). So I wasn’t just clicking from one processor option to the next with image in the UI. I closed image and re-opened with each new processor set to run. Processing time not significantly different for each try. b/wn the 3 processor settings… I’m not sure what that’s telling me, to be honest. I tried same image 3 times - changing the Processor option for each time. ![]() detected the foreground mannequin face (not smaller, blurrier mannequin faces in background - which is fine for this shot). Subject is a mannequin in a museum - ie, low, mixed lighting (which produced signif. It’s a “clean” subject on “clean” background. by using each of the 3 Processor options. Also testing to see if any visible diffs. No issues opening and processing with that Sony raw image. ![]() I believe soon will come time, when any person can drop thousands of pictures, old and new, inside a Program, that can automatically apply individual setting to every picture in a batch, to the level, that only best in a world Photographer-Editors can achieve, in a time of my coffee break. Topaz Lab’s Management knows well what they want for Photo AI, and IMHO they are on the right track, with powerful, but light, “3 in 1” Program that could be part of anyone workflow, and our goal to help them shape it. I still open for new and innovative approaches in photo editing, and Photo AI one of them, that I care so much, I decided to be part of that forum. Time passed, and another Program came to the my attention, with the same level of sophisticated tool calls “Repair Brush”, with simple to use, well written UI, with some extra features I need, and build from ground up for my computer, make my editing even faster.Īfter Legends like Photoshop, Aperture, Nik Collection Plu-Ins, LightRoom, and many others, now Capture One my main photo-editing engine, with unbelievable UI adjustability, that soo important to me, that it was no brainer to switched, and Photo Mechanic as File management, that replaced long standing ( from Windows time) ACDSee. It was part of my “Can’t Live without” toolset. There so many matured Ph-E Programs, that can do everything one wished, but now, some competition coming, with small and innovative Programs, that have very efficient workflow and quality of outcome, that any photographer can benefit from.įor example: I used for years one fully fledge, Great program Affinity Photo, as “One Feature tool” only, almost as Plug-in, just to use Amazingly efficient, ahead of its time “Inpainting brush”, that is content aware, and no other Programs can come even close. Truly Amazing Face Recovery/Enhance features, that deserve prize on it’s own, and so important for me in my photo-restoration workflow! ![]() 5 x) picture size, plus way better noise reduction, that works wanders on old film & scanned pictures, sharpening and I use for years PhotoZoom, to increase/decrease picture size, any size, from up to down, and it does great, and fast job.įor me doesn’t matter what plug-in I click on, in Capture One.Ĭlick on PhotoZoom 8, and Program can increase/decrease picture size, with some minor adjustments.Ĭlick on Photo AI and Program increase/decrease ( why only. In my opinion, Topaz’s best long-term strategy is to provide apps in specialized tasks that the competition cannot match.
